Terms of use

About these terms
These terms apply when you use Have You Seen (haveyouseenapp.com). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we look after your data.
Who can use Have You Seen
You must be 16 or over. Have You Seen is invite only for now: you join through a friend's invite link or an approved request. Keep access to your email account safe, as that is how you sign in.
Using the app fairly
You agree not to:
- pretend to be someone else, or choose a name or username that is offensive or misleading
- use the app to harass, bully or upset anyone
- try to see data you are not allowed to see, or get around blocking or privacy settings
- copy, scrape or resell the app or its content, or overload or disrupt it
- use the app for anything unlawful
If someone bothers you, you can block them; they will no longer be able to see or contact you in the app.
Your content
Your lists, ratings and the short names you give things stay yours. You let us store and show them, only in the ways your privacy settings allow, so the app can work. When you delete something, or your account, we stop showing it.
Film and series information
Titles, posters, cast and episode details come from TMDB (The Movie Database). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We do our best to keep it accurate, but cannot promise that every detail is correct or up to date.
The service
Have You Seen is free and is still being built, so features may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable. We provide it as it is, without guarantees. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law, or our responsibility for anything the law does not allow us to exclude.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Profile, then Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app first. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions? Email privacy@haveyouseenapp.com.
